Terms & Conditions

Boat tickets must be paid in full at the time of reservation by Visa or Mastercard. We have the most favourable cancellation policy in town! You are entitled to a full refund as long as your cancellation request is submitted at least 24 hours prior to your departure time. Any cancellations made within twenty-four hours of the purchased sailing will not receive a refund. All cancellations must be made over the phone, through email, or through our texting service.

We do not offer refunds to guests who miss their sailing, and we will be unable to move you to a different departure time.

You must arrive at least 60 minutes prior to sailing to pick up your tickets at the ticket booth located at 10 Hay Bay Road. Tickets will be released if they have not been collected by this time. If you already have a National Park Pass, you will be required to show it at this time. If you do not have a National Park Pass, it will be charged with your booking. For information on Parks Canada passes, please go to http://www.commandesparcs-parksorders.ca. You will have 15 minutes to park at the ticket booth – subject to parking availability. Once tickets are picked up, you will be directed to one of our long-term parking lots.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy on Flowerpot Island. Check the boat description for how long it takes to get to the island. Book to stay for 2 on the island if you would like to walk the full trail and see the lighthouse museum. Book to stay for 3 hours on the island if you would also like to go swimming and bring a picnic lunch. There are light snacks and refreshments available for sale at the lighthouse museum when it is open. That said, it is run on a volunteer basis and we cannot guarantee hours of availability. We recommend bringing your food and beverages.

Children

All children 3 and under are required to be included in your booking even though they are free of charge. Please ensure every member of your group is on the ticket, or they will not be allowed to board.

Strollers
We are now allowing strollers on our vessels and Flowerpot Island. First, guests are responsible for handling their own strollers, which must be collapsed while on our boats. Second, this does not apply to wagons. Wagons are not permitted on the vessels.

PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST ONE EXTRA HOUR OF TRAVEL TIME – CONSTRUCTION IS TAKING PLACE ON HIGHWAY 6.

Bruce Anchor Cruises reserves the right to cancel at any time without notice due to inclement weather conditions, including, but not limited to, strong winds and/or thunderstorms.  Also, all sailing schedules are subject to change or cancellations without notice due to circumstances related to crew and captain availability, as well as instances where vessels require unscheduled repairs, may occur.  In the event of cancellation, pre-purchased tickets will be refunded in full.
